Know before you book
- Two routes: the Red Route around the city centre and up to Danube Island (13 stops, 09:30–16:30), and the Blue Route out to Schönbrunn (7 stops, 09:45–16:45). A bus every twenty to thirty minutes.
- The tour runs every day of the year. First and last bus times change with the season.
- Children 5–15 pay the child fare and under-5s travel free. Every child must be accompanied by an adult.
- Most of the buses are wheelchair accessible; ask us and we will check the day you want.
- Availability comes back with the purchase, so there is no hold on this and nothing counting down. If the operator cannot be reached, the page says so and stops selling rather than guessing.
Questions guests ask
How often do the buses come?
Every twenty to thirty minutes on both routes, every day of the year. The Red Route runs 09:30–16:30 and the Blue Route 09:45–16:45, and the exact first and last times shift with the season.
How many stops are there?
Twenty: thirteen on the Red Route through the centre and up to Danube Island, and seven on the Blue Route out to Schönbrunn. One ticket covers both.
What is the child policy?
Children 5 to 15 pay the child fare. Under-5s travel free and need no ticket. Every child must be accompanied by an adult.
Why is there no countdown on this booking?
Because there is nothing to hold. Availability comes back from the operator with the purchase itself, so there is no reservation ticking away — and we would rather show you nothing than a timer that means nothing.
What happens if the operator cannot be reached?
The page stays up, tells you plainly, and stops selling. It does not quietly turn into a request we cannot honour, and it never takes your money for a ticket we cannot issue.
Is the bus wheelchair accessible?
Most of their buses are. It is the operator’s fleet rather than ours, so tell us the day you want and we will check it with them before you book.

Comparing?
