The honest mechanics
How booking works
Eight promises, and what each one costs us to keep.
From click to curtain
- Pick your eveningEvery date is open or sold out. Never a number, never a percentage, never a countdown — we do not count what we do not hold.
- Pay once, all-inYour card is charged once, at checkout. The booking fee is €0.00 and it is printed anyway, beside the face value of the ticket itself.
- Tickets in the same momentYour QR code, wallet pass and PDF are issued at checkout, for every product — with two exceptions named on the page: a night at the Staatsoper and the seasonal gala nights are the house’s or the organiser’s printed cards.
The eight promises
These are not marketing lines. Each one is written down as a decision, each one is enforced somewhere in the system that takes your money, and where a promise has an exception the exception is named here rather than discovered later.
01
All-in prices, no checkout surprises
The price you see is the price charged. Our booking fee is €0.00 and we print it anyway, beside the face value of the ticket itself, so you can see which part is the house’s and which part is ours.
02
Instant e-tickets
Your QR code, wallet pass and PDF are issued at checkout, for every product. Two exceptions, named: a night at the Staatsoper and the seasonal gala nights are the house’s or the organiser’s printed cards, collected from our office or delivered to your hotel — never posted.
03
Seats together
Guaranteed where the seats themselves are what you bought. Where a room assigns seats inside a category, we always book your party on one order, and if a venue seats you apart, tell us and we will put it right. Each product’s page says which of the two applies.
04
A free date change until 48 hours before
Same event, same category, up to two changes. If the new date costs more you pay the difference; if it costs less your original price stands. The button appears only where the inventory can honour it, and where it cannot the reason is printed instead of a disabled control.
05
Real availability
Open or sold out. Never a number, never a percentage, never a countdown. We do not count what we do not hold — and where we do hold and count it, the shop and our own guided walks, the number prints as a plain fact rather than as a reason to hurry.
06
A real office, and humans on WhatsApp
There is a counter you can walk into, and on the day of your event there is an “I’m running late” button that reaches a person rather than a form.
07
No fake urgency, ever
The only timer on this site is a real hold on inventory we genuinely count. Most of what we sell carries no timer, no hold and no countdown on any surface, because there is nothing being held.
08
Refunds shown as a date
Fourteen days from purchase, and never inside 48 hours of the performance — whichever binds first. That date is printed on every order line rather than left as a rule for you to apply.
Two kinds of thing we sell — and we say which is which
Genuinely ours
What we own outright
Cards we bought at a house release, places on walks our own guides lead, things on our own shelves. These are the only things on this site we count — and where we count, the number prints as a plain fact rather than as a reason to hurry.
Independent ticket service
Where we resell
We are not the State Opera and never present ourselves as one. Where we resell, we say we are an independent ticket service and that the price includes our sourcing and service, and the page links to the house’s own box office.
What we do not promise
What holds
- A refund date on every line, before you pay.
- One order for your whole party, wherever a room assigns seats.
- The same 48-hour window on every product we sell, with no per-partner variation.
What we do not promise
- We cannot promise seats together where a hall seats freely, or on individual seats we bought one at a time — those pages say so.
- We cannot promise a date change on a printed card that is already in your hands: the card has to come back before the house will reissue it.
- We cannot promise a refund inside 48 hours of the performance when you have simply changed your mind. When the failure is ours, that limit does not apply at all.
When we cannot supply
If we cannot supply what you bought, you are refunded in full and immediately, whatever the date, and we tell you so in those words. That refund is started the same day and lands in three to five bank days.
Fair questions
The ones guests actually ask at the counter, answered the way we answer there.
What is your booking fee?
Zero. Our booking fee is €0.00 on every product, and we print it on the order anyway so you can see the face value of the ticket beside what we charged for it.
When do you charge my card?
At checkout. Your card is charged once, when you place the order, and your ticket is issued in the same moment.
Can I change the date?
Yes, free, until 48 hours before the performance, up to two times, for the same event and category. If the new date costs more you pay the difference; if it costs less, your original price stands.
Until when can I cancel?
Fourteen days from purchase, and never inside 48 hours of the performance — whichever comes first. The exact date is printed on each line of your order, so you never have to work it out.
What happens if you cannot supply my booking?
You are refunded in full immediately, regardless of how close the date is, and told that we could not supply it. Refunds are started the same day and land in three to five bank days.
Do you ever show how many seats are left?
Only where we own the stock and genuinely count it — our own guided walks and the shop. Everywhere else a date is open or sold out, and there is no third state, because we would be counting somebody else’s seats.
Every claim on this page is one of our own recorded decisions, last checked on 27 August 2026.
