When a role does open, it will be listed here with the work, the hours, and what it pays as a number. We publish the salary because a range you have to ask for is a range that is not yet a number.

There is no open role today. We would rather say that plainly than run a permanent “we are always looking for talented people” page that collects applications nobody reads.

They are the busy part of the calendar, and the people who work them know that before they start.
Questions applicants ask
- Do you have a role open?
- Not today. This page will list one when we do, with what it pays.
- Can I send a speculative application?
- You can write to us, but we will not keep it on file — storing applications for a role that does not exist is not something we want to be doing with somebody’s data.
- Do you take interns?
- Not currently. When that changes it will be a listed role with a listed wage, not an unpaid arrangement.
- Do you hire guides?
- Our own guided walks are led by people we work with directly. Guides have no login to our systems; they are records, not accounts.
- Where is the work?
- In Vienna, at the office. This is not a remote company — the counter is half the job.
- What languages do you need?
- German and English at working level. Italian, French or Spanish are useful because the site publishes in all five.
