About these facts

Nothing. The price on this page is the price the Wiener Staatsoper prints on the ticket, and our booking fee is €0.00. The house sells the same seats itself — online, by phone and at its box office — and where one is left there, buying direct costs the same.
The house’s own price group. The Wiener Staatsoper divides its seats into nine by their view of the stage, and what each costs depends on the evening. We hold seats in three of them; each row on this page says where in the house it is.
We cannot promise it. The house assigns each seat inside its Preisgruppe and we hold individual seats, so two tickets may be apart. The seat is printed on the ticket.
It is a printed ticket from the house. Collect it free at our office, or have it delivered free to your hotel — you choose at checkout. We never post it.
The performance goes ahead with the singer the house sends on and your ticket stays valid — the house’s own terms say a cast change is never a reason to return a ticket. Your own cancellation date, printed on your order line, is unaffected.
Fourteen days from purchase, and never inside 48 hours of the curtain — whichever comes first. The exact date is printed on your order line before you pay.
Only to another evening of the same opera that we hold, in the same Preisgruppe, until 48 hours before. For this opera we hold one evening, so today there is no other date to move to.
Standing room. The house sells it on the day of the performance from 10:00, online and at its box offices, for €15 to €23 on these evenings — and nobody can hold it for you, us included.
The row reads sold out and stays on the page. We do not buy more on the night or offer a substitute; the house’s own box office is linked from its page.
