The room
The hall
MuTh, Augarten, Am Augartenspitz 1, 1020 Wien
The Vienna Boys’ Choir’s own concert hall at the edge of the Augarten — a small modern room built for them in 2012, and the only place they sing a full programme at home.
1 night · 21 December 2026 – 21 December 2026
Know before you book
- Monday 21 December at 11:00, in the MuTh — the choir’s own hall at the edge of the Augarten.
- A matinee, so it suits children and it is over before lunch.
- These are tickets we bought when they were released. We hold a handful and resell them at the printed €39; our margin is zero by design.
- The MuTh is a small modern room built for this choir in 2012, which is why there is no bad seat in it.
Questions guests ask
Is this at the Hofburg chapel?
No. The Sunday mass in the Hofburgkapelle is a church service; this is a concert in the choir’s own hall, the MuTh, at the edge of the Augarten. Different building, different morning, different ticket.
Is it suitable for children?
Very. It is a matinee at eleven, it is over before lunch, and the performers are children themselves.
Where do these tickets come from?
We buy them when the organiser releases them, like everybody else, and we resell them at the printed price. There is no allocation and no special relationship — just a handful of tickets bought early.
What do you add to the price?
Nothing. The number on this page is the number on the ticket, our booking fee is €0.00, and the margin on these nights is zero by design.
How do I get the ticket?
It is a physical ticket with a seat printed on it. Collect it free at our office counter on Herrengasse, or have it delivered to your hotel — you choose at checkout.
What happens when they are gone?
The night says so. We had a handful, and when the last one goes the page states it plainly rather than pretending there might be more.
