Know before you book

  • Groups are capped at fourteen. These are our own walks with our own guide, so the places really are counted.
  • Wednesdays and Sundays at 14:00. Two and a half hours — the longest of our walks.
  • The price includes the licensed guide. The Ferris wheel ride and the sewer museum are not included and are not part of the route.
  • The film is 1949 and the city is not; the guide is clear throughout about which doorway is which.

Questions guests ask

  • What is included in the €35?

The licensed guide, for two and a half hours. The Ferris wheel ride and the sewer museum are separate tickets and are not part of the route — we say so before you book rather than after.

  • Do I need to have seen the film?

No. The guide tells the story as you walk. Having seen it makes the doorways better, and you can watch it the night before.

  • How long is the walk?

Two and a half hours, which is the longest walk we run. It covers ground; wear the shoes you would walk a city in.

  • Who leads the walk?

One of our own guides — licensed by the city, salaried by us, and not working for tips alone. The same people lead the free walk and the specials.

  • Do walks run in bad weather?

Yes, in anything short of a storm warning. If we do cancel you hear by 08:00 with a link to rebook — at breakfast, not at the meeting point.

  • Do children pay?

Under-12s walk free on every tour, including the paid specials. They still take one of the places, so reserve for them too.

  • Can I bring a stroller?

On the daily walk, yes — the whole route manages one. On the specials, ask us first: the courtyards and cellars have steps and small doors.

  • What does it cost to book?

Our booking fee is €0.00, and we print it on your order at €0.00 rather than leaving it out.

  • Can I change the date?

Yes, free, up to 48 hours before the walk. The exact deadline is printed on your order line.
