Know before you book
- €59 per person, daily at 18:00, about three hours. The buffet plate and the first half litre are included.
- A shared table of eight to sixteen — this is a hosted evening, not a private one, and the table is part of the point.
- Sixteen and over. Vienna’s youth-protection law puts wine and beer at 16, so there is no child fare on any of these evenings.
- The evening ends around nine, which is later than most concert curtains. If you want both on one night, ask us first.
- We hold no stock in these evenings: a date is open or it is sold out, and no number of places is ever printed.
Questions guests ask
Is a Heuriger a restaurant?
Not quite. It is a tavern licensed to pour the wine it grew, and the food is a cold buffet you choose by the plate. The licence is why the wine is the house’s own and why the room feels like somebody’s courtyard.
What is included in the €59?
The hosted evening, the buffet plate and the first half litre of wine. Anything after that first half litre is yours to settle at the table.
Will we have a table to ourselves?
No — it is a shared table of eight to sixteen, and that is deliberate. If you want a private table, tell us and we will ask the house what it would cost.
Is there an age limit, and can children come?
Sixteen and over on all three evenings. Vienna’s youth-protection law puts wine and beer at 16, which is why there is no child fare to print.
What does it cost to book?
Our booking fee is €0.00, and we print it on your order at €0.00 rather than leaving it out.
How do I know a date is really available?
Because we ask. We hold no stock in these evenings — the tables are the house’s — so a date is open or it is sold out, and we never print a number of places, because it would be a guess about somebody else’s room.
Can I get to a concert afterwards?
The Heuriger evening ends around nine, which leaves most concerts already started. The cellar tasting at 17:00 finishes in good time for a 19:30 curtain; tell us what you are going to and we will say plainly whether it works.

Comparing?
Everything we sell, day by day, is on what’s on; the others like it are on wine and heuriger.
